This August, SAYv is joining NBCUniversal Local’s annual Clear The Shelters campaign — a nationwide effort that brings together animal shelters and rescue organizations across the country to help more pets find loving homes and raise funds to support lifesaving animal care.
Since its launch in 2015, Clear The Shelters has helped more than 1.3 million pets find new homes and raised millions of dollars to support animal welfare organizations.
There are two big ways that you can help.
DONATE
As a foster-based rescue, SAYv has no physical shelter. Every animal we save relies on the generosity of our community. Donations help provide veterinary care, food, medications, supplies, transportation, and other essential resources that make each rescue possible.

ADOPT
During Clear the Shelters, adoption fees are 50% OFF for dogs and cats that have been in SAYv's care for more than six months. These amazing animals have been waiting far too long for the loving families they deserve. If you've been thinking about adopting, now is the perfect time to open your heart and your home.
